It’s that time of year when the european VMware community descend into Barcelona to absorb all the key messaging, explore the latest versions of the vSphere eco-system via the Hands-on-Labs and learn about new products from vendors in the Solutions Exchange.

If, like me, you’re attending then let’s meet and talk. As you may well know I work for Nutanix and I’ll be on booth duty to talk all things hyper-converged and if any of you are using the Community Edition I’d love to know how you’re getting on. I’ll also be looking out for fellow vExperts around the Blogger’s Lounge and Hangspace areas so if you see me first, don’t be shy come and say hello.

Now, to the title of this blogpost. I’ll happily chat all day and night about NOS features and how Nutanix accelerates virtualised environments far better than other hardware and software storage vendors but what I’m really interested to know is what projects you have on the go, what problems / barriers you’re experiencing and how you’re approaching them. Service delivery and availability of new platforms for a business should be the focus of a design opposed to tick boxes and fancy features. The Nutanix stand will have whiteboards so let’s draw up at high-level what you’re thinking of deploying / designing and see where our thought patterns take us. Unfortunately I won’t be able to dedicate huge chunks of time during the day but there’s opportunity to pen out ideas and see where Nutanix would fit. In return I’ll be giving away NUTANCLAN stickers, see my MacBook photo below.

These are my own and strictly limited and won’t be given out lightly. (If I run out I will commission more to be posted after the event)

I look forward to seeing you there so stop by the stand or Tweet me for a meet up.
